The concept of Françoise’s Tables

Our new concept dresses your table to give your event all the elegance and flavor it deserves. Whether it is seasonal, festive, just very "chic" or even very bohemian, we leave room for creation; yours first if it inspires you or ours simply to allow you to dream freely.
Beyond table setting for all occasions, we organize thematic workshops: table dress code, cooking, floral arrangement, tableware exchange, etc.

The legacy of the Demeuldre Establishments

200 years of excellence in the art of the table

Deep roots in porcelain (1818-1953)

Founded in 1818 in Ixelles, our porcelain factory has spanned the ages, driven by visionary personalities:

  • Frederick Theodore Faber launched the first factory, Ixelles I, supported by King William I of the Netherlands.
  • Charles-Christophe Windisch founded Ixelles II in 1830, marking the beginning of our lineage.
  • Chantal Vermeren-Coché propelled the company to new heights in 1869.

    For over a century, our factory has produced exceptional porcelain, rivaling the greatest European houses.

The Evolution Towards Commercial Excellence (1953-1997)

Faced with post-war challenges, we were able to reinvent ourselves:

  • Transition to the distribution of prestigious brands
  • Creation of the “XII Grands des Arts du Feu” gallery in 1974
  • Pioneering development of wedding lists in Belgium

A passion that continues (1997-2021)

Under the direction of Françoise Demeuldre Coché :

A new chapter (Since 2021)

Today, our adventure continues in Limal under the name " Les Tables de Françoise D. ", perpetuating our commitment to the art of living and refined dining.

For over two centuries, Établissements Demeuldre has embodied elegance and expertise in the art of the table. Our history, rich in twists and turns and innovations, demonstrates our ability to evolve while preserving the essence of our heritage: the love of beauty and well-made products.

Francoise

Françoise Demeuldre represents the sixth generation of the Vermeren-Coché family and is opening a new page in the family history in Limal in Walloon Brabant after having been at the head of the Etablissements Demeuldre for more than 23 years. This Brussels address, which was among the most cutting-edge in its sector, is now turning towards culture.

Jonathan

Jonnathan Moens has been part of the "Tables de Françoise D" adventure for almost two years now.

He is the second reference person to advise you to help you in your choices.

Françoise and Jonnathan met at the Château de Louvignies during the year 2022.

Françoise had exhibited the collection of the Demeuldre Coché factory there and Jonnathan had been hired to manage the visits.

After the exhibition, he continued to be part of the adventure!
