The Gien Rambouillet dinnerware collection features hunting dogs and game in their natural woodland setting. The entire Gien Rambouillet collection, designed by Mr. Bertholle in 1952 for the presidential hunt, is hand-painted, making each piece a one-of-a-kind work of art bearing the initials of the artisan who painted the piece on the reverse. Made from faience, a fine, porous earthenware that is tin-glazed and then fired multiple times.
