The Anduze vase is recognizable at first glance. But where does it come from? From an imaginative Cévennes potter who in 1610, reproduced the Italian Medici vases glimpsed at the Beaucaire fair, (elegant foot, squat shape, Florentine decoration): the Anduze vase was thus born.

Terre Figuière today is part of the prestigious framework of the "Artisans Potiers" of the Anduze region, and strives to perpetuate a tradition in the art of this manufacturing so dear to our ancestors!
